Welcome to the "wikified" knowledge base on blue-it.org<ref>See Blue-IT Website for more Informations. On the german pages you'll find a disclaimer (Impressum) about who maintains this site.</ref>

This site is intended to be a working horse for special problems within my work:

  • Informations about open source software with focus on the linux desktop and office.
  • Tips and tricks for using open source within your business, without reinventing the wheel.

With the hope this page will be useful for you and me.

Yours Axel

  • Therefore you are NOT allowed to use this site for your own edits, only if the admin of the site gives you an account
  • This page is for use within the special range of linux related problems at Blue-IT and not another HowTo wiki. Please use other more popular wiki's to report you own experiences.
  • This page is Solution Centred and therefore should present solutions, not describe problems.
  • I don't re event the wheel. A solution for a problem probably already exist within other pages. I link them instead of rewrite its contents.
  • The work should be according to the KISS principle: "Keep it simple and stupid."
  • Concrete, short solutions are often more worthily.
  • We a part of a worldwide community. That's why the language of these pages is partly english.
