Creating EBooks

Motivation

One of the most interesting things dealing with document management are the various possibilities dealing with text. I personally use Libreoffice , MS Word, LyX (LaTeX) for desktop publishing and in the Web Drupal, Mediawiki an other content management systems to deploy my texts. My hope is - sometimes - to write in a unique input format like TeX or HTML an deploy to all given platforms. As long, as this is not achieved yet, we are coming to another output platform: deploying and creating ebooks.

Most important: an E-Book is not print format! You should NOT try to deal with special fonts. The main focus lies on the CONTENT rather than on the output format. The output format is choosen by the user, at his very special device or software.
