Some notes ...

"The one thing that air conditioners and computers have in common: They do not work well, if you open Windows."
My congratulation to decision of MS making .NET open source - see MSDN blogpost from November 2014 on blogs.msdn.com,| search for ".NET Core is Open Source". But there's a long way to go for real platform independence ... folks I'll keep an eye on you - seriously.

Welcome to the "wikified" knowledge base on blue-it.org

This site is intended to be a working horse for special problems within my work:

Focus on programming, the Linux desktop and server (mainly Ubuntu and Debian)
The wiki is "readonly" for public, you cannot contribute. I by myself contribute a lot to other public wikis and - in case - will link there.
Because of beeing part of a worldwide community, the language of the wiki is - mainly - English

With the hope this page will be useful for you and me.
