Pocketbook Surfpad 4 L

Encryption

I only could encrypt the device using this method:

  • boot into recovery modus
  • wipe cahce
  • factory reset (and clear all user data)
  • flash the device with FW 149
  • reboot the device
  • after login continue with language, no wlan ( you don't need it yes ).
  • Don't configure the device or install any apps (root, google, ...)
  • enter a password (or pin)
  • reboot
  • emmediately after reboot encrpyt the device

Boot into recovery

  • Power + Volume down
  • Rashr - Flash Tool

Modifications

  • Firmware 149 for PocketBook SURFpad 4 L
